Week 1 – Shapes. We made frosty shapes for art and
played shape bingo. We read the book “Color Farm”, a
book about animals and shapes.
Week 2 – Valentines. We made Valentines bags and had a Valentines party. For art we made candy hearts, we used sweetened condensed milk and food coloring. Almost all the preschoolers had a heart painted on their face. We also had a candy hunt.
Week 3 – “Go Away Big Green Monster”. We made big green
monster faces for art. We read the book “Go Away Big Green Monster”.
The Children love the story!
Week 4 – Getting ready for spring conferences. Spring pigs for art. We read “It Looked Like Spilt Milk. Bible Stories: David and Goliath, Moses, Ash Wednesday. Lent.Coming up in March – Easter Story, Lions and Lambs, Dinosaurs, Solar System.
