October 2007 - Kindergarten and 1st Grade

Greetings from Mrs. Brase,
The 2007-2008 school year has started with an excited, busy and diverse Kindergarten classroom.
We are happy to welcome nine new kindergarten students.
During Jesus Time, we are talking about new beginnings - the beginning of a new school year, new friendships, new learning adventures, but most of all the beginning of the world. We learned how God not only created us, but also continues to provide for us on a daily basis. We have also talked about God's promises to us. The most important promise was that he would send us a Savior and now we can live with him in heaven.
The First graders are reviewing the alphabet and continuing to read. They are becoming much more independent already. The Kindergartners are getting used to the routine and hopefully enjoying the process. We are really excited to begin a new school year with so many classmates. We pray for the Lord's blessings on this new school year.
